The consequences of the measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to have adverse effects in the coming 2020/2021 financial year. Due to the positive results of operations in recent financial years and in the period leading up to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, equity of EUR 354,919 thousand (which corresponds to an equity ratio of approximately 70.97%) as at 30 June 2019 and the Company's long-term focus, Borussia Dortmund considers itself prepared to handle the uncertain economic situation. The management is continuously reassessing the situation as it pertains to the COVID-19 pandemic.
