Borussia Dortmund finished the 2019/2020 season in second place with 69 points, qualifying directly for the lucrative group stage of the UEFA Champions League in the coming season. Borussia Dortmund has thus qualified for an international cup competition for the eleventh time in a row since the 2010/2011 season.
Borussia Dortmund will face FC Bayern Munich in this year's DFL Super Cup on 30 September 2020.
