(18) Other operating income

Other operating income decreased by EUR 1,932 thousand year on year to EUR 8,025 thousand (previous year: EUR 9,958 thousand). In the current reporting period, it primarily includes gains from the derecognition of liabilities, gains on insurance claims, gains from reimbursement for granting contractual marketing rights and gains on the reversal of valuation allowances. Other operating income includes prior-period income in the amount of EUR 193 thousand (previous year: EUR 835 thousand).
